He holds graduate degrees from Denver Seminary and the AG Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. Senior Associate Pastor Josh Cook

Josh came on staff full-time at Victory Life Church January 1, 2013 and has been in full time ministry for over 18 years, serving as a youth pastor, associate pastor and senior pastor. As Sr. Associate Pastor, his primary duties include leading Worship and providing leadership for VLC's Young Adult/Young Couples ministry. He also gives oversight to the Youth, Children's, Discipleship, Men's and Women's Departments. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Church Leadership from Bethany University and is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Josh and his beautiful wife Sara Jane will celebrate 15 years of marriage this May and have three amazing kids - Emma (12), Elijah (9) and Ezekiel (4). Some of Josh's favorite activities include sitting at Starbucks with Sara Jane, playing board games and video games with his kids, golf with his Dad and cheering on all the Denver/Colorado sports teams (mostly the Broncos!). He is so glad to be back home in Colorado and is excited to be a part of the future God has for VLC!

Administrative Pastor Rex Townsley

Rex has pastored churches in rural areas of Colorado for over 24 years. He’s a fan of the cowboys (not the ones in Dallas), loves riding horses, playing guitar, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Rex and his wife, Debie have been married for over 30 years and are passionate about helping others strengthen their marriages. They enjoy singing and playing music together.

Youth Pastor Mike Wallis

Mike has served in youth ministry for the past 8 years. He has a deep passion to see students serve God with their whole heart. Mike and his wife Jenelle are gifted speakers whose desire is to deliver exciting, relevant messages that impact our youth today. Mike and Jenelle have four great children. Ariana, Michael, Alyssa and Nate. Mike was born in San Diego CA., and is an avid Charger fan. (Please don’t hold that against him). Mike believes more than ever that this is the generation God wants to use to impact this world for His glory.

Janice Brunswick Children's Pastor

Janice grew up in ministry in a pastor’s home on the Western slope of Colorado. God called her into ministry at a young age. After graduation she majored in Missions at Northwest University in Kirkland WA and Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie TX and Elementary Education at Mesa University in Grand Junction CO. Janice has been involved in Children’s Ministries most of her life. She has served as a Sunday School teacher, Children’s Pastor and Praise & Worship Leader. Janice married her husband Jim in 1994. They were foster parents for 10 years. God has blessed them with their 5 amazing children: Haylee, Gabriel, Michael, Christian, and Reannen. Janice’s passion for children drives her ministry. Janice and Jim’s experience with foster care has given them a burden for the children of the Grand Valley. She believes that every child deserves to be loved. Her desire is to lead every child that enters the church to a personal and real relationship with Jesus. Her Goal is to equip them with the “tools” they need to face every day and to know that with God all things are possible. Raising a child with special needs Janice understands the challenges one faces every day. She tries to make sure that the Kids Services and activities are accessible to all children.

Ten years ago, Lorraine and her husband moved to Grand Junction to get out of the corporate pace and to live a more fulfilling lifestyle. Lorraine and James have two handsome boys and she loves to trail run, ride her bicycle and read. Lorraine's passion is seeing people be intentional and grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Director Heather Dennis of Victory Garden Preschool & Creative Center

Eight years ago God placed on Heathers heart the desire to open a Christ based preschool and childcare center and she feels so blessed to see that dream become a reality. Victory Garden is a center that reflects Heather’s philosophy, beliefs, training, and experience in providing an exceptional experience for children and their families. Heather loves being able to minister to children who might not normally attend church services on Sundays. It's great to be able to share the love of Jesus in such a tangible way.
