Lead Pastor Ted Miller
Ted became the Lead Pastor in February 2007 after serving congregations in Arkansas and California. Ted is the husband to his best friend, Tami, and the Dad to 3 great kids. Ted enjoys golf, yard-work, fishing and football (The Dallas Cowboys). A great plate of Mexican Food with some gummy bears for dessert results in a whole lot of happiness.
Worship Leader Tami Miller
Tami is a grateful mom of 3 children, all of which are in or entering their teenage years. She enjoys shopping, reading and spending quality time with her family and friends. Tami is purposeful and passionate about using music as a tool to worship Jesus and grow in our relationship and in Love with Him.
Executive Pastor Steve Peschke
Steve is a flat-lander from the upper Midwest who is loving the mountains and the rugged beauty of the high desert. He is passionate about the role of the local church in the mission of God and the spiritual development of leaders. Steve and Sue arrived at VLC after he completed his Master's degree at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2010. They love the outdoors and being a part of their children's and grand children's lives. Sue loves quilting, scrap booking, and cooking. Steve loves eating. They are both fans of the world-champion Green Bay Packers.
Youth Pastor Mike Wallis
Mike has served in youth ministry for the past 8 years. He has a deep passion to see students serve God with their whole heart. Mike and his wife Jenelle are gifted speakers whose desire is to deliver exciting, relevant messages that impact our youth today. Mike and Jenelle have four great children. Ariana, Michael, Alyssa and Nate. Mike was born in San Diego CA. and is an avid Charger fan. (Please don’t hold that against him). Mike believes more than ever that this is the generation God wants to use to impact this world for His glory.
Creative Director Brian Steele
Brian came to Victory Life Church in 2007. His interests include photography, golf, graphic design, hanging out with his wife and kids and anything Apple. He's passionate about using creative arts to make an impact on people's lives. Brian is also fairly passionate about the Minnesota Vikings which has been an excellent lesson in long-suffering.
Discipleship Director Lorraine Call
Ten years ago, Lorraine and her husband moved to Grand Junction to get out of the corporate pace and to live a more fulfilling lifestyle. Lorraine and James have two handsome boys and she loves to trail run, ride her bicycle and read. Lorraine's passion is seeing people be intentional and grow in their relationship with the Lord.
Children's Ministries Director Tara Lemon
Tara is the mother of four wonderful children and has been married to her husband Matt for 15 years. She has been at Victory Life church since 2007. Tara and her family love to go camping and treasure finding at consignment shops and garage sales. She enjoys card making, gardening, and other activities that let her tap into her creative talents. Tara is passionate about showing children in our community the true love of God through volunteering and foster care. Her heart is to teach children the same Word of God that adults get but on the child's level leading the children to a love for God and his Word.
Stillwater Cowboy Fellowship Site Pastor Rex Townsley
Rex has pastored churches in rural areas of Colorado for over 24 years. He’s a fan of the cowboys (not the ones in Dallas), loves riding horses, playing guitar, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Rex and his wife, Debie have been married for over 30 years and are passionate about helping others strengthen their marriages. They enjoy singing and playing music together.
Staff Counselor Deborah Townsley M.A.
Deborah is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia where she received a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. She is a very caring and compassionate person who genuinely desires to develop a trusting and helpful relationship with you.
